Getting real for a moment

Hackers and scams have completely ruined my week. First, I witnessed a new type of hacker attempt - an interview scam. Then, I was asked to take part in a podcast that led to a hacker attempt to gain information - and just this morning, woke up to find my Facebook page had been completely taken over and deleted.

I’m not the only one - it seems other content creators/influencers are being targeted. It’s left me feeling defeated - and burned out.

So this weekend, I’m taking a pause. I’m putting down the phone and computer. I’m not going live. I’m taking a time out. When things like this happen I like to take time to think about what I learned and where I can make changes and improvements. My Dad would say, “Jennifer, this is a character builder.” With that, new things are coming, so stay tuned.

Picking a Password App

Someone has asked me - how did your account get hacked with passwords? Data breaches happen all the time and hackers are smarter than we think. What I would recommend is always using a different password for each site (even I’m guilty of re-using them). Keeping track of them all too daunting? Try one of these password apps or just use the one built into your phone (iphone users), called the Apple Keychain. Go to Settings > passwords > to see them all. Here are a few other ideas if you want something different.
